You entered the Draft as a Junior, how hard was the decision to declaring yourself elegible before completing your Senior year?
My decision wasn’t hard at all I felt I didn’t have anything else to prove at the collegiate level and that my film would speak for itself.
After signing Mark Ingram II and renewing Robert Griffin III’s contract the Baltimore Ravens have 3 Heisman winners in their team. How important was winning this trophy for you?
It wasn’t a goal of mine. I wanted a national championship trophy. I never thought about the Heisman not even when they were mentioning my name on television platforms.

During your first games you only entered the field in specific game situations and mostly as a running threat. Do you believe those snaps helped you adapt to the change of pace between the NCAA and the NFL when you became the starter?
No, I feel I needed to actually be out there completely because as a QB you need to find your rhythm when you out there the full game you gone catch on to the speed a lot faster.
Does your preparation change between a regular season game and a playoff game? How different is the pressure you feel?
No, my preparation is still the same it’s just you either win or go home so you have to give it everything you have like it’s already the Super Bowl.

Who is the best player you played against?
It’s hard for me to determine who was the best person I played against because different teams have players better at other positions on the opposite team.
How is Lamar Jackson outside of football? What do you like to do in your spare time? Any hobbies?
I’m very chilled outside of football. I don’t really go out as much but if I do I’ll maybe go to something called extreme I’m still a kid at heart and I’ll hang out with my family.
